T H E   S T O R Y

→ In a remarkable project, our team developed six flying cars for General Motors’ Chevrolet brand. These flying cars were strategically located worldwide, captivating audiences as they were transported internationally between car shows, launch events, and TV productions.
→   One memorable event occurred in New Delhi, where a Chevrolet Spark originally intended for the Mexican launch event made a grand entrance. The flying Spark generated unprecedented excitement, resulting in a remarkable scene. A 2km line formed as people eagerly gathered to witness the flying Chevy. The overwhelming response led to overcrowding, temporarily closing down the hall for several hours.
→   Additionally, we created a flying version of the Buick LaCrosse for General Motors Shanghai. Our team toured multiple cities in China, featuring it in motor shows, events, advertising campaigns, and concerts. The client informed us that the campaign proved highly successful for them. The flying car generated immense interest, effectively driving an uptick in Buick LaCrosse sales in the Chinese market.

For Chevrolet’s car launches Gear Factor has designed several flying car models for motor shows and events in the US, Korea, Brazil, Argentina, India and Vietnam. We’ve been at the Atlanta Auto Show and the Seoul Motor Show for them. The flying Chevrolet ‘Bumblebee’ Camaro and the Sonic attracted large crowds at both events and soared high into the imagination of everyone that spotted them above.
